Enemy Making Plots to Brainwash Iranian Youth

TEHRAN Commander of the Ground Forces of Iran's Army Brigadier General Pourshasb here Saturday said that the enemy, frustrated in military fronts, now tries to work on the minds of the youth. Addressing the concluding ceremony of the Qoranic, Sport, Arts and Scientific Festival for the children of the Army personnel, he said, The danger now threatening our youth is more serious than bullet which targetted the heart of our youth during the Sacred Defense (1980-88).'' He said, Our youth should resist the enemy's plots by strengthening their physical and spiritual might.'' Hojjatoleslam Imani, head of the Ideological and Political Department of the Army also addressed the ceremony, underlining the need for better training of children and youth.

The seminar was held in commemoration of 46,000 martyrs of the Ground Forces of the Army. Some 700 top students participated in the festival, with the best students being awarded.
